Monitor Audio Unveils Limited Edition Silver Series 7G Speakers
British audio company Monitor Audio has announced the release of its Limited Edition Silver Series 7G speakers. The new models, available from August 2025, feature a luxurious Carbon Black Metallic finish and enhanced driver technology, aimed at audiophiles seeking high performance and exclusivity.
The Limited Edition speakers come in two types: the floorstanding Silver 300 7G and the standmount Silver 100 7G. Both models are individually numbered for exclusivity and boast Monitor Audio's proprietary C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium Magnesium) drivers, anodised in black for enhanced clarity and precision.
The Silver 300 7G, designed for larger rooms, uses a refined 3-way design with 2 x 6" C-CAM RST II bass/mid drivers, 1 x 3" mid-range driver, and 1" C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter with UD Waveguide II. The Silver 100 7G, on the other hand, is suitable for modestly sized listening spaces.
Both models are equipped with RST II (Rigid Surface Technology II) bass and mid drivers for reduced distortion and deeper, controlled bass response. The Silver 100 7G also features a new C-CAM dark grey anodised dome tweeter designed to deliver greater detail and smoother high-frequency performance.
The speakers are paired with a meticulously engineered crossover and cabinet design, ensuring optimal sound quality. The Silver 300 7G, in particular, features a bass reflex design with HiVe®II port technology to optimize airflow.
The Limited Edition speakers mark a new pinnacle of craftsmanship and performance for Monitor Audio. The recommend retail prices for the Silver 300 7G Limited Edition are £2000 / $2750 / €2500 per pair, and the Silver 100 7G Limited Edition are priced at approximately £925 / $1350 / €1300 per pair. These Limited Editions are premium-priced compared to standard models by £550 and £175 respectively.
