The service offers three main categories of home services: cleaning, laundry, and cooked food. The cooked food category, Choplife, is the startup's flagship offering. Meals are delivered hand-delivered by a Gokada rider, ensuring freshness and timely delivery.

The average meal on Choplife costs approximately ₦1,600 (~$3), making it an affordable luxury for many in Lagos. Users can choose how often they want to receive the meals; daily, weekly, or twice a month. For those wanting a weekly meal plan, four meals a week can be ordered for a cost of approximately $80.

Nigeria's food inflation has risen 110.5% between September 2015 and September 2020, making the convenience and affordability of Choplife even more appealing. The service offers a diverse range of meal suggestions, with over 170 options including soups, sauces, salads, pastas, and pastries.

The startup is run by a team of software engineers, with Gbenga Osowe leading the supply team, Prosper Otemuyiwa leading the engineering of consumer-facing tools, Silm Momoh and Damola Adegoke responsible for the website design, and Chef Kabir leading the team of chefs.

Eden's mission is to provide good food on time, all the time. The startup is a first-mover in the space they are operating, but this brings uncertainty about survival as society evolves and technology presents new alternatives. The startup faces the challenge of adapting to users' evolving palates as society changes.

Interestingly, chats about food with gardeners happen on WhatsApp, ensuring a personal touch to the service. Each gardener is expected to establish a relationship with the user, adding a human element to the service.
