Roborock's Unveiling at CES 2025 Features a Robotic Limb for Gathering Toys and Socks

At CES 2025, Robotuck revealed an innovative robot vacuum cleaner, replacing the S8 MaxV Pro Ultra model. Initially, it looks like any other Robotuck device, but it holds a hidden talent.

Robotuck incorporated a mechanical robotic arm named OmniFlick, designed to overcome obstacles that had previously halted the cleaning process. Besides this, the device boasts Robotuck's upgraded StarView Autonomous System 2.0, enhancing navigation and mapping precision.

What is the Robotuck OmniFlick?

The Queso X50 comes equipped with OmniFlick, a five-joint robotic arm housed within the vacuum's 7.98 cm frame. It features precision sensors, a camera, and an LED light, remaining inconspicuous inside the vacuum cleaner until detecting an obstruction. Upon detection, the robotic arm unfolds, extends, andtwists both vertically and horizontally to move such objects.

OmniFlick can lift and remove objects weighing up to 300 grams, such as socks, tissues, and towels. The Queso X50 undertakes regular cleaning duties, marking and detecting objects it can lift along the way. It then returns later to clean those missed areas. Although not the quickest method, it addresses areas previously difficult to clean.

This headline feature is disabled by default but can be activated through the Robotuck app. Users can customize OmniFlick's interactions by specifying which objects it should handle and where they should be placed. Safety features include a child lock and a stop button for disabling the arm as needed.

Robotuck Queso X50 features a new navigation system

The Queso X50 incorporates Robotuck's improved StarView Autonomous System 2.0 for enhanced environmental mapping and obstacle detection. It utilizes a traditional LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) tower module for navigation, complemented by new dual-light 3D ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensors and RGB cameras. In line with 2025 expectations, these features are "empowered by AI." The AI can detect up to 108 different obstacles, including socks, toys, and more.

The Queso X50 robot vacuum and mop boast an impressive 22,000 Pa of suction power, placing it among the highest in the industry. It also includes Robotuck's dual anti-tangle system, a FreeSwirl main brush, and a liftable FlexiArm Riser side brush to prevent hair tangling. The product is scheduled for release in the first half of 2025.

Robotuck has introduced the Queso 10 and Queso 10R robot vacuum cleaners. The Queso 10R is tailored for low-clearance furniture and lacks the retractable LDS module, opting instead for an ultra-thin 3.14-inch design to access tight spaces. It will be released later in 2025. In contrast, the Queso 10 features the industry-leading 22,000 Pa of suction power and will be available starting this month.

At CES 2025, Robotuck also unveiled the Roborock Saros Z70, a high-end upgrade to their existing vacuum lineup. This new model showcases an advanced version of the OmniFlick mechanical robotic arm, enhancing its capabilities to handle even heavier objects.

While the Roborock Saros Z70 shares many features with the Queso X50, such as the StarView Autonomous System 2.0, it is expected to be released later in 2025, aiming to cater to a wider range of consumer needs.
