Deepal Unveils Long-Range S05 SUV Variants: A Competitive Option in the Electric Vehicle Market

Deepal, a sub-brand of Changan Automobile, has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) lineup with the introduction of three new long-range variants of the S05 SUV. Known as the Deep Blue S05 Global Extended Range Edition, these variants offer impressive features and specifications.

The new long-range variants boast a CLTC-rated driving range of 620 km, a substantial 110 km increase over the regular 510 km version. They are powered by a single rear-mounted electric motor delivering 175 kW (235 hp) and 320 Nm of torque in the standard long-range, with a more powerful 200 kW (268 hp) motor also mentioned for the 2026 model.
