Samsung's latest Galaxy devices' tentative release schedule for the Android 16 beta version is allegedly exposed.

Samsung has announced the start of the One UI 8 beta, based on Android 16, for its latest flagship devices. The Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6 are now eligible for the beta, with the rollout commencing around August 10, 2025, in select regions such as India, the UK, Korea, and the US [1][2][3][5].

The beta program will expand to include the Galaxy S23 series (including S23 FE, Plus, Ultra), Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy A35, A36, A54, A55, and other mid-range and older flagship devices starting in September 2025 [1][3]. The stable release of One UI 8 is expected to begin with the Galaxy S25 series in September, followed by a sequential rollout to other eligible devices later in the year.

Samsung aims to extend the beta program to cover all eligible Galaxy phones and tablets before the end of 2025, ensuring a swift stable update rollout. Registration for the beta can be done through the Samsung Members app [1][3].

Meanwhile, Google is reportedly working on adding Samsung's default navigation bar layout to Pixel phones [4]. This move could further strengthen the collaboration between the two tech giants in the Android ecosystem.

It's worth noting that the One UI 8 beta rollout is a part of Samsung's latest OS and beta program. While Samsung's commitment to timely updates is evident, the software landscape is not always predictable, as seen with the delays experienced with One UI 7 [3].
