DuckDuckGo, an online protection company with a mission to raise the standard of trust online, is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Motion Designer to join their remote-first team of over 300 members.
With a culture that emphasizes trust, inclusivity, and empowered project management, the Senior Motion Designer will play a pivotal role in leading marketing and product design projects from brief through delivery. The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in motion design, ideally in-house at a fast-paced consumer brand.
The Design Team at DuckDuckGo helps define and elevate visual storytelling across marketing and product surfaces. As a Senior Motion Designer, you will work on various media formats such as TV ads, digital video, and product design assets. You will collaborate closely with teams including marketing, product, legal, and external agencies.
Your strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, along with your working knowledge of 3D illustration tools like Cinema 4D or Blender, will be essential in delivering high-quality and effective motion work that aligns with growth and performance goals.
The Senior Motion Designer will also contribute to cross-functional creative testing and help shape motion best practices. Bonus points if you have experience with integrating motion design into video editing workflows.
DuckDuckGo offers a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role is roughly between $60,000 and $70,000 per year, and successful candidates will also receive stock options. Compensation is identical within professional levels, regardless of geographic location or team.
Candidates may be required to attend meetings on camera via video conferencing. Compensation for each professional level is transparent across the organization. Other benefits include paid parental leave, office setup allowances, and co-working stipends.
