Teledyne Controls' eADL XS Approved for Airbus A320 Family

Teledyne Controls, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval to install its novel Airborne Data Loader eADL XS on Airbus A321 aircraft. This approval benefits operators of these aircraft, enabling secure avionics software updates and reduced maintenance time.

The eADL XS is an easy drop-in replacement for existing dataloading hardware, simplifying upgrades for Airbus A321 operators. It is already certified for Boeing 737NG aircraft, and the new approval allows commercial and cargo operators to install it across their Airbus A321 fleets. This innovation continues Teledyne Controls' commitment to aircraft connectivity and data management. The eADL XS is fully compliant with ARINC 645-1 requirements and offers secure wireless capabilities.

With FAA approval, Teledyne Controls' eADL XS can now be installed on Airbus A321 aircraft, enhancing avionics software updates and maintenance efficiency for operators. This marks another advancement in Teledyne Technologies' provision of sophisticated instrumentation and aerospace electronics.
