Tesla Unveils Faster, Farther Model Y Performance with Luxury Upgrades
Tesla has unveiled a revamped Model Y Performance in the US, showcasing enhanced speed test, range, and comfort. The updated SUV accelerates swiftly, attains impressive speeds, and provides a quieter, more luxurious interior.
The new Model Y Performance rockets from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 mph. This performance is complemented by an estimated 306 miles of range, ensuring long-distance capability.
The SUV's exterior features redesigned front and rear fascias, along with a new carbon fiber spoiler, which improves downforce and reduces drag. Inside, added sound-damping materials and acoustic glass create a quieter cabin. Tesla has also introduced sport seating with heated and ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, along with new bolstering for enhanced cornering support and comfort.
The revamped Model Y Performance starts at $57,490 US, including paint options and a tow hitch. Orders placed before midnight on September 30 qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit, reducing the price to $49,990 US. Deliveries of the updated SUV are expected to begin in December.
