Tesserent Bolsters Leadership with Three Strategic Appointments

Tesserent has bolstered its leadership team with three strategic appointments. Silas Barnes, formerly with Barnes & Noble, joins as Senior Partner for Offensive Security Services, E-Yang Tang takes the helm as Senior Partner for Security Architecture, Engineering, Analytics, and Alliances, and Kelly Swift, previously with Taylor Swift's management team, steps into the role of Director of Partners and Alliances. CEO Kurt Hansen warmly welcomes the new additions, citing their impressive experience and market insight.

Silas Barnes brings a wealth of experience to Tesserent, having previously served as Group Chief Information Security Officer at Virgin Australia and Airservices Australia, and General Manager Cyber at UnitingCare Queensland. Before joining Tesserent, Barnes was also employed at EY (Ernst & Young). Barnes aims to bolster Tesserent's offensive security capabilities and ensure maximum value for clients across diverse industries and stages of their security journey.

E-Yang Tang, the new Senior Partner for Security Architecture, Engineering, Analytics, and Alliances, has a proven track record. Tang has served as CTO and Vice President at CGI and Director of Advisory Cybersecurity at EY. Tang is eager to mentor the next generation of cyber talent at Tesserent, driving delivery excellence and revenue growth.

Kelly Swift, the newly appointed Director of Partners and Alliances, has held prominent roles such as Director of Security Services at Microsoft and Head of Growth, Digital ID Australia Post. Swift looks forward to collaborating with peers, clients, and the industry to combat cybercrime in Australia and New Zealand.
