TTI IP&E Expands European Hub, Creating 200 Jobs and Adding 30,000m2 of Logistics Space
TTI IP&E - Europe has initiated an expansion project for its European Distribution Centre (EDC) and headquarters in Maisach-Gernlinden. The project, supported by Invesco Real Estate and executed by BREMER Stuttgart GmbH, aims to double the site's footprint and create around 200 new jobs in the news industry.
The expansion will add approximately 30,000m2 of new warehouse and logistics capacity and 6,000m2 of additional office and administrative space, doubling TTI's footprint at the site to 51,000m2. The project is scheduled for completion in March 2028.
The new building areas are targeting DGNB certification at the 'Gold' standard. TTI plans to install a full-scale photovoltaic system on the rooftops, complemented by partial green roofing, and feature state-of-the-art automation, including the world's largest Autostore system built on a platform structure.
Hans Seidl, Mayor of Maisach, commented that the expansion sets the stage for further growth and job creation, adding to the current workforce of approximately 700 employees.
Upon completion, the expanded EDC will boast around 200 new jobs in the news industry, sustainable features, and advanced automation. The project is expected to drive further growth and job creation in the region.
