Universal Audio Offers Free UAD Showtime '64 Tube Amp Plugin Until October 31
Universal Audio has just released a new plugin, the UAD Showtime '64 Tube Amp. Until October 31, it's available for free, offering guitarists a chance to experience its rich tones.
The UAD Showtime '64 Tube Amp is an emulation of the classic Fender Showman amplifier. This plugin delivers shimmering cleans, crunchy overdrive, and a tube-driven vibrato effect. It features three emulated microphone set-ups and additional controls for Bright and Room dials, providing users with a wide range of tonal options.
The Fender Showman, the amp that inspired the UAD Showtime '64 Tube Amp, has a storied history. Originally designed for surf rock legend Dick Dale, it later found favour with The Beatles, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, and John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Universal Audio's plugin joins a line-up that includes other amp simulation plugins like the UAD Woodrow '55 Amplifier and the UAD Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier.
The UAD Showtime '64 Tube Amp is now available for macOS and Windows in VST3/AU/AAX formats. Don't miss out on this free offer, which ends on October 31. Experience the legendary tones of the Fender Showman in your own recordings.
