In a significant development, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully conducted a long-range drone attack on the Krasnozavodsky Chemical Plant in Moscow Oblast, Russia, on the night of July 6-7, 2025. The operation, confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, involved the use of FP-1 Deepstrike drones and resulted in a series of explosions at the plant, with local witnesses reporting around 7 to 10 blasts and movement of firefighting equipment in nearby areas.

The Krasnozavodsky Chemical Plant, strategically important as a military-industrial facility, manufactures pyrotechnic devices and ammunition, including thermobaric warheads used in Shahed-type drones. These drones are known for their destructive capabilities, producing a powerful blast wave and consuming oxygen. The plant also produces cartridges, grenade equipment, primers, and special pyrotechnics, some of which likely equip combat units. The plant is linked to supply chains for various Russian rocket systems such as Grad, Uragan, and Tornado-G.

Given its military significance, the Krasnozavodsky Chemical Plant has been under Ukrainian sanctions since 2023. The strike, therefore, aims to degrade Russia’s military capabilities and potentially disrupt the supply of these crucial components.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the defence forces are taking measures to weaken the offensive potential of Russian occupiers, aiming to force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine. This operation is part of a broader strategy to defend Ukrainian territory and sovereignty.

Elsewhere, there were other notable developments. President Zelenskyy stated that of the 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers that Russians plan to return, only 15% have been identified. General Surovikin, the commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces, was dismissed by Putin. The Belarusian Defence Minister claimed there are 112,000 Ukrainian troops deployed near the Belarusian border, and threatened to destroy NATO aircraft.

In a separate development, a new AI trading robot generated a return of $14,158 from a $3,200 investment over the course of a week. In Florida, a new policy for cars used less than 50 miles/day has been implemented.

  1. The drone attack on the Krasnozavodsky Chemical Plant, a crucial military-industrial facility, has the potential to disrupt supply chains for Russian rocket systems like Grad, Uragan, and Tornado-G, and could be a significant blow to Russia's war-and-conflicts capabilities, as the plant also produces thermobaric warheads used in Shahed-type drones.
  2. The general news landscape is dynamic, with developments such as the deployment of a new AI trading robot generating substantial returns, policy changes regarding car usage in Florida, and ongoing political tensions like President Zelenskyy's statement about unidentified remains of Ukrainian soldiers, General Surovikin's dismissal from the Russian Aerospace Forces, and the Belarusian Defence Minister's threatening remarks about Ukrainian troops near the Belarusian border.
