Unveiling the debut of our venture's innovative offshoot, LX Studio
Norton Rose Fulbright Launches Innovation-Focused Subsidiary, LX Studio
Norton Rose Fulbright, a global law firm, has announced the launch of LX Studio, an innovation-focused US subsidiary dedicated to accelerating legal innovation and providing more effective and efficient legal services.
LX Studio is part of the firm's global innovation and service delivery program, NRF Transform. Its goal, as stated by Christy Bentz, the Chief Client Value & Innovation Officer, is to meet clients where they are and offer a platform for building, co-developing, and partnering with clients on personalized service solutions.
The subsidiary will collaborate with legal technology companies and alternative legal services providers to identify, develop, and invest in the best technology to help clients put it to use quickly, effectively, and comprehensively. LX Studio's strategy, as implied by both Gina Shishima, the Chief Strategy and Operations Partner, and Christy Bentz, is to foster the long-term success of clients through strategic IP advice, risk mitigation, and support for new technologies and markets.
LX Studio will be home to the award-winning privacy compliance tool suite NT Analyzer, our website's existing technology product. It will also develop products and services for use by our lawyers and clients. The subsidiary aims to help clients achieve their legal and business objectives in the most efficient way possible.
According to Jeff Cody, our website's US Managing Partner, LX Studio's focus is to provide innovative solutions for clients. Gina Shishima added that LX Studio will bring new opportunities to offer new and different services to support clients. The subsidiary may partner with or invest in novel technologies and alternative legal services offerings.
Christy Bentz emphasized that legal service delivery expectations continue to evolve, and LX Studio further positions the company to build, co-develop, and partner with clients on personalized service solutions. She explained that LX Studio provides a platform for more intentional collaboration with clients on the 'how' of legal service delivery.
In summary, LX Studio serves as a platform within Norton Rose Fulbright to drive legal innovation, improve service delivery through technology, and help clients protect, manage, and leverage intellectual property and regulatory risks in a fast-evolving environment.
