For Final Cut Pro users, Boris FX has added new Continuum lens flare presets, allowing for quick and appealing light flare effects integrated via drag and drop.

Moreover, the update to Particle Illusion includes turbulence controls and a new line renderer, while new creative options such as film stocks, color grades based on iconic films, optical filter simulations, lens flares, a digital gobo library, light rays, and glows have been added.

Continuum 2021 also includes Digital Film Tool (DFT) technology and a new Edge Cleaner effect for Primatte Studio's Academy Award-nominated chroma keying technology.
