VinFast introduces the electric VF Wild pickup truck at CES event.
VinFast, the Nasdaq-listed electric vehicle manufacturer from Vietnam, has made a splash at CES 2024 with the unveiling of its first electric vehicle concept pickup truck, the VF Wild.
Ms. Tran Mai Hoa, Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at VinFast Global, introduced the VF Wild as a symbol of the company's commitment to broadening its product range and promoting sustainable mobility.
The VF Wild exemplifies VinFast's aspirations to enter the fast-paced and thriving electric pickup truck market. Its name, "Wild," symbolizes "the force of nature" and represents the brand's commitment to breaking boundaries and venturing beyond.
The VF Wild's design, jointly developed by VinFast and Australian design studio Gomitiv, boasts a unique "Fluid Dynamism" aesthetic, inspired by the flowing motion of a superhero's cape in the wind. Its design features a panoramic glass roof and digital side mirrors to improve aerodynamics, as well as a power-folding mid-gate for practicality and a class-leading bed length.
One of the standout features of the VF Wild is its flexible bed size. With the rear seats folded down automatically, the bed can expand from 5 to 8 feet, making it the largest in its segment. This feature, along with its mid-size dimensions, with an overall length of 209 inches (5324mm) and a width of 79 inches (1997mm), positions the VF Wild in the mid-size pickup category.
