WETEX 2023: Dubai's Sustainability Showcase Opens Tomorrow
The 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is set to open tomorrow in Dubai. Organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the event promises to be a significant platform for dialogue and collaboration in sustainability and clean energy.
Spanning over 95,000 square metres at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 30 September to 2 October, WETEX will host over 3,100 companies from 68 countries. These companies will showcase their innovations in clean energy, water, decarbonisation, green mobility, sustainable cities, green hydrogen, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. The event will also feature 18 international pavilions and dedicated zones such as the Green Mobility Zone and the Health and Safety Hub.
In addition to the exhibition, WETEX will host business-to-business and business-to-government meetings, as well as over 135 specialised seminars and panel discussions. DEWA will offer exhibitors exclusive tours of its Sustainability and Innovation Centre at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
With its extensive exhibition space, diverse range of exhibitors, and comprehensive programme of events, WETEX 2023 is poised to be a major event in the global sustainability calendar. The exhibition serves as a hub for local and international stakeholders to share knowledge, explore partnerships, and drive progress towards a more sustainable future.
