Workshop on Power Integrity, led by Steve Sandler
Get ready for a comprehensive learning experience as globally recognized power expert, Steve Sandler, conducts a 2-day hands-on power integrity workshop at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on December 3rd and 4th.
This workshop is designed to provide attendees with the latest tips and techniques for understanding, measuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting power integrity issues in electronic systems. The course combines lecture and hands-on exercises for a comprehensive learning experience.
During the workshop, attendees will learn how to make impedance, stability, PSRR, step load, and ripple measurements, as well as how to measure, optimize, and troubleshoot common power integrity issues. The workshop will also focus on the fundamentals of power integrity and its role in system reliability.
Attendees will gain insights into analysis of power distribution networks, including impedance and resonance, measurement methods for power noise and voltage fluctuations, optimization strategies for decoupling capacitors and PDN layout, and the impact of power integrity on signal integrity and overall system performance.
The workshop will also demonstrate troubleshooting power integrity issues through examples such as Clock Jitter/Spectrum Analysis, Noise Density, EMI, and Troubleshooting with Near Field Probes. It will also provide attendees with the latest tips and techniques for flat impedance design, improving the performance of high-performance digital and RF circuitry.
High-fidelity measurement, design, and simulation techniques will be taught during the workshop. The workshop will also cover topics such as measuring power supply noise budget, frequency measurement, measurement of each portion of the PDN, interpreting an impedance plot, and critical measurements for success.
The cost of the workshop is $1,500 per person for the two days, which includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks. For more information, email Lucy at lucyi@our website.
