Xynteo Launches Asia's First End-to-End Clean Hydrogen Accelerator
Xynteo, in collaboration with others, has launched Energy Leap, Asia's pioneering end-to-end clean hydrogen technology accelerator. This initiative, led by the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), aligns with India's ambitious net-zero emissions goals and aims to drive sustainable energy innovation.
Energy Leap seeks to support new technologies and Indian start-ups across the hydrogen value-chain, fostering commercialisation. Vikas Mehta, Executive Director at SED Fund, views this opportunity as a catalyst to accelerate India's net-zero emissions journey. Davendra Kumar, Managing Director India at Technip Energies, underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in scaling clean hydrogen solutions.
India targets to produce 5 million tonnes of clean hydrogen by 2030, with initiatives like the National Hydrogen Mission and Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Policy. Energy Leap will work in partnership with these wider hydrogen and energy transition initiatives, playing a pivotal role in India's journey towards becoming a clean hydrogen hub. Vipul Kumar, Senior Partner at Xynteo, sees Energy Leap as a solution to challenges in clean hydrogen commercialization.
Energy Leap, under the leadership of the PSI, is poised to drive India's home-grown energy security and decarbonisation journey. By supporting innovative technologies and Indian start-ups, it aims to power the nation's clean hydrogen revolution, ultimately contributing to its net-zero emissions goal.
