Yakutia's Workplace Music Trends: Top Artists, Generational Insights, and Productivity Boosts
Music lovers in Yakutia have been tuning in at work, with notable trends emerging in the region's listening habits. MTS Music services have revealed the top artists and tracks played during work hours, along with intriguing generational and seasonal insights.
Yakutian residents have been grooving to the tunes of Egor Kreed, HammAli & Navai, and Morgenshtern, who top the work playlists according to MTS Music services. The summer months of July, June, and May 2025 saw the highest music playback at work, while March, February, and September 2024 experienced the lowest.
Millennials, aged 25 to 41, emerged as the most prolific workplace music listeners, accounting for 52% of tunes played. Generation X followed closely with 33%. Interestingly, Yakutia ranks 7th in Russia for music playback frequency at work. Residents have shown a significant increase in music playback at work, up by 46%.
Thematic playlists and mixes have also seen a 46% increase in plays at work over the past year. Men make up 64% of listeners, with millennials being the largest generation at 52%. Baby boomers, aged 59 to 81, accounted for only 9% of music listeners at work, while zoomers, aged 14 to 24, preferred silence, with just 5% of listeners.
When it comes to productivity, 'Time, Being' by Jonny Nash and Suzanne Kraft tops the charts among Yakutia residents. 'Do While ⌘X' by Oval and 'Apmah' by Ertay Mamyrhan follow as the second and third favorite tracks respectively. With a 46% increase in music playback at work, Yakutia's residents are clearly finding their rhythm during work hours.
